REDONE & REVISED
What’s up everyone here is a brief run down on ya boy!!! Nothing you haven’t heard before but it’s me in a nut shell.
I grew up in Richmond, VA and knew at a young age that I wanted to be a professional athlete. For me, accomplishing this goal has been everything but easy! As a young adult I had some run in’s with the law, left home and lived amongst a handful of friends; with a future that never appeared to be promising.
I will never regret anything in my past life because I know the struggles, trials and tribulations has made me the warrior and fighting machine I am today. I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17 and faithfully served my country, as a Sergeant, until June of 2010. Throughout my short Marine Corps career I was able to submerge myself in a wide variety of Martial Arts. I dabbled in various forms of grappling, Marine Corps Martial Arts (hand to hand combat techniques), and Muay Thai Kickboxing.
In 2005, I first started training Muay Thai at “Richmond Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Self Defense Academy” under Eric Burdo. Shortly after being stationed in Germany, Summer of 2007, I continued advancing my skills under Marc Schmid at “Kampfsport Zentrum Schmid”. In 2008 I began making annual trips into Thailand in order to perfect my Muay Thai skills by training at Tiger Muay Thai & MMA. These challenges would prepared me mentally, spiritually and physically giving me the assets to surpass all competition from future opponents.
My first sanctioned fight was held in Leinfelden-Echterdinger, Germany under the International Sport Kickboxing Association. Here I would defeat my opponent Silyevic Yasmin by unanimous decision. After a vicious battle of aggressive Thai boxing I knew I had found my life calling, and wasted no time stepping up to the challenge.
