Stalking people made easy…

I bought a .22 LR rifle at home and it is a fun little toy, but it is a small caliber and not very…intimidating.
With that being said, I decided to paint it to make it look camo and so I can stalk all my ex-girlfriends…too soon? Anyways here’s how to do it.
Step one: Buy masking tape, razors, and FLAT tactical colored spray paint (at least 3 different colors).
Step two: Put masking tape on any screw, any crack, and over the bolt mechanism. (NEVER paint your bolt)
Overlap the tape over whatever you need to cover so you can go back and cut the excess tape with a razor. This will make sure you paint as much of the weapon as possible.

Step three: Paint a base over the entire rifle (both sides). A good rule of thumb is that you can always paint your rifle darker so a light colored base is best. It is hard to go from dark to light as you will put alot of excess paint.

Step four: Gather a handful of surrounding vegitation. The vegitaion you gather is going to create the texture pattern on your rifle, so it is best to use at least two or three different types of vegitation. Once you have your pattern figured out, hold the vegitation in one hand (about an inch away from the rifle) and the can of the next darkest color (or preferred color) in the other hand and lightly spray directly over the vegitation. Repeat with several colors and vegitation until you have your pattern figured out. Remember, start light then make your way to dark. Do this to both sides…obviously. *NOTE* nothing in nature grows sideways so hold the vegitation up and down as it grows.

Step five: let paint dry in the sun then remove your tape, low and behold you will have a freshly painted, slightly more intimidating/tactical rifle. You can paint the barrel but make sure you put a piece of paper under the barrel so you don’t compromise accuracy by getting paint in the bedding of the rifle.
