Last training session at Tiger for a few months
Today was my last session at Tiger before I go back to the UK for a few months to heal up from a knee injury. It’s heartbreaking to have to leave now when there are so many good training partners at the gym.Heung Pak Wing is here, prepring for a bout on the Thai Fight event in Hong Kong on July 17th,as well as Brian Robertson (veteran of over 50 Muay Thai fights),Claire Haigh(WPMF champion),Matt Semper and JJ Ambrose just to name a few.Soon after I leave even more fighters are going to be returning to the camp including Don Madge(one of the best “farang” Muay Thai fighters around),Jimmy and Micah.
What a bad time to be injured!!!
I’m going to miss my trainers and training partners like crazy.I know a lot of people say this, but these guys literally are like family to me.We train together, eat together, hang out on the weekends together and go to each others fight to support.I’m very grateful to have met such a great group of people and can’t wait to be back training along side them.
While I’m back in England I will be training people at a gym near Reading. My trainers have taught me a lot and I look forward to sharing what I’ve learned.I aim to be back fighting as soon as possible, hopefully in around 4 months.
