I love youtube!
One of my favourite things to do on the weekends when I’m in Phuket is to hang out with the trainers and my training partners and watch the Muay Thai fights on TV. Now that I’m back in the UK, I can’t watch the fights with my friends but thanks to some nice uploaders, I can at least watch the fights the next day on youtube.
The last 2 weeks have been the semi final fights of the Fuktien Group 144lb tournament at Omnoi stadium. One of the fights was Saksurin Kiatyongyoot vs Ikkyusan Kor Roongtanakiat.
Ikkyusan is a former student of TMT trainers Gae and Goi, from when they were in their hometown of Surin. He has a very entertaining style of fighting, often throwing flying knees, jumping front kicks and cleverly timed elbows.
Ikkyusan will now fight the winner of the other semi final, Sittichai Sitsongpeenong, on July 16th for the Omnoi Stadium welterweight title and a big paycheck.
