Sugar Crash!
Thinking of competing in the Pan Asians next month in the Philippines. The comp is in GI and NoGI. (For any Muay Thai folk that might be reading, GI is the pyjamas people wear in BJJ ^^)
Been on a test diet this week to see if I can make the lowest weight class which was 61.5kgs started at 66kg and 5 days later I hit 61.5. Was after practice tho so loss of water was involved. But I feel that I have a loss in energy with the diet so I just decided that I’ll stay at my normal weight and compete at 73.5kgs. Then I can eat what I want, be able to train hard and have lots of energy! Gonna be up against some bigger guys but that havnt stopped me from submitting them before! :P
So after I decided to F the diet I had two of the most glorious meals ever! In a span of 30 minutes! Was pretty full afterwards :) Earlier that day I did a session of crossfit. I dont think I’ve ever been that tired after a workout before! Maybe wasnt the best idea to go beast mode during the diet!
You are split up in teams of two then get a couple of different exercises you have to complete within the team. So when you teammate is working you are resting. If you are fit you should try to team up with someone thats “not that fit”. Luckily for me I got teamed up with another beast! I’m so happy that I didnt get teamed up with a not so beast person :P Then I would have slipped into a coma after finishing all the exercises!
Crossfit session “Chipper”:
1200m farmer’s walk
100 Burpees
100 Kettlebells swings
100 Situps
100 Box jumps
100 Squats
200 Running Man
400m Farmer’s walk
(You can do it in which order you like except for the farmer’s walk.)
Think that was it, might have missed an exercise! I dont remember, my brain shut down after the workout :P Did just a tiny bit of the MMA session after the crossfit, could barely move during sparring. But in the end I managed to survive it. Hooray for me!
So today I’ve been really sluggish, can barely walk up a couple of tiny stairs! It’s not that my legs are sore, they just feel empty. No energy whatsoever! But manage to get out of bed and do open mat today. Afterwards I got some food with Jeremy and then Central festival for a bit of dessert at Dairy Queen omnomonom!
On my way home I bought a coke and some mentos when I got home all of that got in my belly! Had a bit of a sugar high. Then crashed and fell asleep for 3 hours! lol Good day so far!
