My last fight
This is the video of my last Muay Thai fight. It is a disappointing end to what was a really good fight.
Things started of a bit shakey in the 1st round and my opponant landed a couple of powerful rights that rocked me but I was able to weather the storm and see out the round. Inbetween rounds my corner told me to get the clinch which would help take away my opponants strengths and let me work on knees. After watching the video I feel I went on to win all the other rounds until I recieved the low blow. I did try and continue but it was pain I never felt before and each impact sent shooting pain across my abdominals and groin area forcing me to stop. I was gutted because I was on my way to pick up the win and it’s not the way anyone wants to finish a fight. The low blow left me pissing blood for the following day and a half :(
All in all I feel it was a good fight and showed areas where I have improved and areas where further improvement is needed. I’m taking nothing but positives from it and am using the result as motivation for my next fight on the 25th Aug
